I am a postdoctoral psychotherapist who value both insights and practical applications in my work with clients. My clinical specialties are in the areas of depression, anxiety, bi-polar spectrum disorders, addictions/chemical dependency, co-occurring disorders, PTSD, trauma (physical, psychological, and sexual), Dissociative Identity Disorder, and relationship issues. I also have extensive experience working with family members of individuals with severe mental illness.
The individuals I work with vary in their life experiences and range of functioning. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for them to resolve any issues impeding their personal growth, emotional well-being, or ability to move forward in different areas of their lives.
My therapy style is eclectic with each treatment tailored to the client’s personality, needs, and level of functioning. I also value collaboration and will consult with those who are in the client’s support system (psychiatrist, school personnel, family members…etc) should the client deems it necessary.
